Physical test, written examination, psychological tests, an interview, an individual and group assignment (2024) is an installation describing the process of being evaluated as a potential professional.
On an outdated smartphone rolled an exit text -like video made out of the motivation letter I wrote when I applied to the Academy of Fine Arts, Helsinki in Autumn 2020. The flashlight of the smartphone was on and pointed to a film showing the results of the different sections of my first entrance examination to the Police University College in 2023. On office papers hung to the wall and on a wooden bar suspended in the air were hand made drawings and cut-out first and fouth round entrance examination scores copied and mixed creating blue shadows in the space.
The installation was exhibited as a part of Uppelux -group exhibition in Vapaan Taiteen Tila, Helsinki in March 2024.
